Pender Harbour and Jedediah Island

The Pender Harbour Annual Jazz Festival gave a desirable cultural turn to our Journey through British Columbia.  And Jedediah Island's Marine Provincial Park highlighted the many hikes that we had throughout our summer.

The outdoor performances attracted crowds. The Tony Koch Trio plus one trombone started off a sunny Saturday morning with take-offs on old classics.

The Big Band sound raised the roof on the Community Center. Wow did they rock!

This Blues Jazz singer capped our dinner evening out at Irving's Landing.

Deep Bay is a well-protected cove on Jedediah. Sue is tying up our dinghy 'Zoom' while we go for a hike. We always had to allow for tide changes.

The homestead on Jedediah was in an idyllic location. While cruising, we always ask ourselves 'what would it be like to live there?"

The sometimes stormy waters of the Straits of Georgia were calm this day on Jedediah Island.
