Rounding Cape Scott at slack tide, we were finally headed SOUTH.

Leaving San Josef Bay at 0500, we were treated to this morning sky!

At Columbia Cove, jigging caught two sea bass on one hook. This 19" sea bass had two whole squid in its stomach plus a minnow.

Julian Cove held us in its pristine calm. 'Sammy Seal' and a few mergansers were the only others present.

Uchuck III was seen several times as it supplied the small ports in the central part of the island. Passengers saw a slower paced West Coast.

Friendly Cove on Nootka Island was the site where the Spanish conceded all claims of Vancouver Island to the British in 1792.

Jewitt Cove had this floating, stag shack where fishing and golf were favorite passtimes.

Ahousat, near Tofino, had a mermaid siren calling its guests.
