Retrofit in Portland 2006-7

The Retrofit of numerous boat systems consumed the seven months of Fall, Winter, and Spring right up to the day we left for Alaska.

Major rework was done on the Port and Starboard bulwarks supporting the jib car tracks.

The Ford Lehman had a new head gasket, reguilt injectors, cleaned heat exchangers, new hoses, etc.

A sweet dual Racor fuel filter system was installed, allowing switching and servicing filters while running the engine.

Sue serviced our secondary winches and the mizzen sheet winch.

A major wrestling match with the furnace finally resulted with installing a new Espar hydronic unit.

A leaking aft head holding tank was removed and replaced.

Nine new batteries were installed, including 3 AGMs with 1800 cold cranking amps.

Tridata, auto pilot and wind instrument in the cockpit will help us along the way.

Wiring the new Raymarine electronics into cockpit.
