Our 2008 trip to Mexico started on September 1st, heading down the Columbia
River, crossing the Columbia Bar at 11:30pm, sailing down the coast in light
winds, ending in Coos Bay, Oregon at 9:00am on September 3rd. A gale sat
on Cape Blanco for 5 days before we were able to move south in confused seas.
