New Zealand Signs

  We found signs in New Zealand that show subtle differences in their culture.  Politeness in work zones, protection for the environment as well as fauna, and pride in a country with unique qualities.

Work Zones are very polite.

Kiwis collect 'Stock Effluent' and process it to control methane and uratic acids from fouling the environment!

The Weka is flightless like the Kiwi, but is common.

Kiwis are nocturnal, and it is easy to overlook them.

The 'All Blacks' is the famous, national rugby team that is the pride of New Zealand.

The Douglass Fir tree was brought in during the 1800s from Oregon, and is now considered noxious.
