Comox Boat Charter

Comox, British Columbia on Vancouver Island was a convenient jumping off point for a boat charter in Desolation Sound with Sue's parents, John and Phoebe.  We were aboard a 40' Mariner called the 'Pacific Mariner'.

This early view of Desolation Sound captures your heart, and thrills the soul!

John had a good book to read while soaking in the sun on the flying bridge.

Mexican Train, a dominos game, was a favorite passtime.

Lunch on the flying bridge was an easy-going way to take in the sights.

Phoebe and John enjoyed taking 'out shots' of the Pacific Mariner for the video in progress.

Seeing orcas in Frederick Arm was a goal that we were thrilled to attain.

Sue was at the helm while Phoebe looked on.

Sue and George putted around in the dinghy in Squirrel Cove.

The blackberry pie baked at The Bakery in Squirrel Cove was yummy a la mode.

This mountain view in Butte Inlet near Orford Bay dazzled us.
