ChristChurch - Feb 2010

After crossing the Cook Strait from Wellington on the North Island to Picton on the South Island, we headed immediately to ChristChurch a few hours south on the east coast.  Highlights were the Festival of Flowers, the Botanical Gardens, and the Willowbank Wildlife Reserve.

The 'Interislander' ferried us from Wellington to Picton across the Cook Strait.

New Zealand is big into the Rugby World Cup with their 'All Blacks'.

The Flower Festival was centered in the Cathedral.
