Barra de Navidad is between Tenacatita and Manzanillo. It is a
delightful small town, with a peacefully, calm inner lagoon for anchoring.
Maria's Tienda supplies provisions, propane, water, and most of your
needs. The fuel dock supplies good diesel and gasoline. Some
cruisers will stay weeks here; most will come for supplies, then return to
Tenacatita or head further south as we did.
Santiago Bay at Manzanillo turned out to be horrific when our boat
sprang a leak. We quickly returned to Puerto Vallarta to have the leak
repaired!

Santiago Bay, near Manzanillo, had 25 cruising boats. This commercial port doesn't cater to the cruiser as much as others.
