A Belated Christmas in Puerto Vallarta

A belated Christmas Holiday sharing of presents took place after everyone settled in to their Los Tules rooms in Puerto Vallarta.  The ensuing week included scuba diving, snorkeling, cetacean watching, shopping, and swimming in the hotel pools to keep cool!

Los Tules was their hotel in paradise!

Christine and Ted loved the night out, hearing Flemenco Guitar music.

The Blond Gypsies plays flemenco music with zest!

Sea Turtles look like rocks in the roadway.

Sea Turtles are endangered; release pens like this one help protect the new hatchlings from predators.

An ecstatic Elaine shows off her Mexican peasant dress.

A surprised Christine wears her silver necklace from Mexico.

Jenna shows the refined intracacies of each lure that she gave George. Hey Jenna, I bought metal leaders so the big ones won't bite the lure off.

Uncle Ted demonstrates finger nail application. It does take a UC Berkeley Masters student to do this, you know!

Braided hair takes patience.

Elaine partakes in the PV 'right of passage' - braided hair.

After the dive, George and Jenna discuss the dive log conditions and observations.

In between two scuba dives, we had lunch under a welcomed palapa. (Sue, Jenna, Ted, Christine, Steve, George, and Elaine)

The Sea Horse and Boy statue was the most popular statue on the boardwalk.
