Crab Dinner a la Desolation Sound!

Heriot Bay near Rebecca Spit was an excellent reprovisioning source.

This king fisher roosted on our mast head for a better view of the fish in the waters.

Our concept of 'play' is to go out for 5 hours in 15-25 knot winds and sail. We are practising using our Monitor wind vane -- hands-free sailing!

In Brem Bay, Toba Inlet, we sighted a black bear along with merganzers, Canada Geese, and Bonaparte gulls.

At the head of Toba Inlet in the early morning we saw 5 eagles spying out fish swimming upriver.

At this falls we nosed the boat up to it so Sue could get a bucket of fresh water, and again to wash her hair. What a hoot!

Refuge Cove was a popular re-provisioning stop before going further north.
